Day 1

It's our first day and the adventure has already begun! We've been chased by a moose, almost accidentally stole a car, started a small fire in the van, and stood before God's tallest expression of his glory in North America.

The flight was miserable, and I'll never fly again, but otherwise it's been great. I arrived last night at around 7ish and wondered if the sun would ever set. It did, finally, around midnight, and then came up again at around 3:30. We spent the night in an empty parking lot and then fled Anchorage in the morning, and have spent today driving north towards Fairbanks, chasing (and being chased) by meese, and shooting many photos which will amaze you when they are revealed.
